Frequently asked questions

Are interns guaranteed an internship?
How are interns matched with their internship site?
How do you approach internship placements when an applicant expresses specific areas of interest?
Where do interns live?
Do your interns secure full time jobs from their internships?
Can interns receive college credit?
Yes! If you are seeking college credit, you must indicate this in your acceptance package. Credit must apply to a general internship rather than a specific area. While we are happy to collaborate with colleges and universities, we cannot accommodate last-minute requests—requests must be made upon acceptance. Additionally, BroadFutures is an accredited Gap Year Association program, which makes you eligible to enroll in college credit coursework through GYA’s partnership with The University of Montana (UM).
